Master of Business Administration (MBA) is aimed to improving decision making capabilities in participants with the highest quality.
Main objective of MBA course fulfill the essential management skills to participate managers in global business environment. SMU (Sikkim Manipal University) is one of the biggest leading universities in India for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. It has many learning centers in all over India to provide counseling and tutoring services. For students support SMU provides CDs of VSAT classes also in learning centers. Learning centers also arrange classes from their end.
MBA Course Structure:
For the Management course in SMU there are 2 years normal duration however, a student is permitted to take 4 years duration to complete his course. Medium of the course is English and it is on credit system.
Session of MBA:
There are 2 session for the course – (1) February (Spring Session) which starts from 1st of February. (2) August (Fall Session) which starts from 1st of August.
Course Material:
Course material will be provided by SMU which are in learning centers. Course material is a special written book by University professor. These MBA books contain reviews of chapters which a students need to learn or read.
Evaluation System:
Evaluation systems are on the basis of credit systems. There are two types of assessment-one is internal and another is university. For the internal assessment you will get the counseling by center. You need to submit MBA assignment also for the internal assessment. Assignment will be evaluated and awarded by marks which will include in credit systems.
Question Patterns:
All the questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs) in the SMU examination. To solve the examination questions you have to solve some sample questions papers in the preparation of examination. All questions will be asked by the MBA books.
From every book there will be 4 or 5 questions. To solve all the questions you should have knowledge of English grammar to understand difficulty of questions. There will be 3 types of questions.
In Part A there will be 40 questions with 2 marks, in Part B 20 questions with 3 marks and in Part C 15 questions with 4 marks each. By this year there are no negative marking now for wrong answers. Total questions will be 75 for MBA course.
Passing Marks:
Minimum passing marks in each should be 35%. Aggregate marks should be 40%. For example – also in Financial Accounting you should have to earn 35% minimum. All students will be awarded by grade systems.
Grade “A” shows excellent for 70% above marks. Grade “B” shows Very Good for 60-69% marks. Grade “C” shows Good for 50-59% marks. Grade “D” shows Satisfactory for 40-49% marks. Grade “E” shows Failure for 40% below marks.
If a student gets failed then in next examination he is able to participate for that subject.

At first I was confused at which university you meant. When I hear SMU, I think of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
There is a mistake in the no of questions and the marks-
i want to know that can i get job after smude mbva degree.

what accreditation does SMU have?

if 2 options are correct rest 2 are wrong would i be awarded 2 marks or no marks in 4 marks questions category

my smu id card validity is feb 2012. But in this month, i am giving my 3rd semester exams. Is it valid for next semester exams?
